Just had a call from Peta, our guys must be having too much fun to call us:-
They have been eating well bar the first morning when breakfast was mainly fruit (seems the local providers were not used to providing timely meals for a campsite with the population of Tamworth)
They are having lots of fun and we were pleased to hear she conquered her fear of heights by traversing the abseiling course.
Setting up the tents was a bit of an experience with a strong wind making life difficult for them.
Her call lasted about 3 minutes then she told us there was a long line waiting
Peta is off to the mudpit tomorrow so Tracey is glad she will be washing her own clothes after that one
Note: Peta told us that she could not find any public phones that take coins so if you didn't set up a homelink facility your scout may need to visit the Internet cafe down there and send an email instead.
